Terms & Conditions

Last updated: March 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Teach Me Drive platform ("Platform"), operated in the United Kingdom. By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account as a learner. Instructors must hold a valid DVSA-approved driving instructor (ADI) qualification or be a trainee license holder (PDI) where applicable.

2. Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • You must provide accurate and truthful information in your profile.
  • You must not impersonate another person or misrepresent your qualifications.

3. Platform Role

Teach Me Drive is a marketplace that connects learner drivers with driving instructors. We are not a driving school and do not employ instructors. Instructors are independent professionals responsible for their own teaching, insurance, and compliance.

4. Bookings

  • Bookings are requests from learners to instructors. They are confirmed when the instructor accepts.
  • Instructors may accept, decline, or suggest alternative times.
  • Learners should arrive on time for lessons. Repeated no-shows may result in account restrictions.

5. Payments

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are listed in British Pounds (£). Instructors set their own hourly rates. Teach Me Drive may charge a service fee, which will be clearly shown before payment.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Either party may cancel a booking before the agreed lesson time.
  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the lesson are eligible for a full refund.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee at the instructor's discretion.
  • No-shows by the learner are not eligible for a refund.

7. Reviews

Only learners who have completed a verified booking may leave a review. Reviews must be honest and respectful. We reserve the right to remove reviews that are abusive, defamatory, or clearly fraudulent.

8. Limitation of Liability

Teach Me Drive provides the platform on an "as is" basis. We are not liable for the quality of driving instruction, accidents during lessons, or disputes between learners and instructors. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid to us in the 12 months prior to any claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the platform.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Contact
